"The Oldest Bank in Mississippi and as Modern as the Newest"

Our History

Amid the antebellum homes and cotton fields of Marshall County, Mississippi, the Bank of Holly Springs opened its doors on February 9, 1869. A lot has changed since that cold winter day. We no longer depend on the coal burning stove that heated the first bank, checks are no longer hand posted to ledger sheets, and cotton is no longer king. However, the one thing that has remained constant through all of the changes is our commitment to our customers.

Today, in addition to our main office on the historic Holly Springs square, we have branches in Potts Camp, Slayden, Abbeville, Ashland, Byhalia, Barton, Victoria and the Holly Springs South Branch, all staffed with friendly, courteous individuals dedicated to making your banking experience pleasant and convenient. We also realize the importance of providing the benefits of new technology so that our customers have the time to conduct their banking business in the midst of today's hectic schedules. Through the use of ATMs, a 24 hour telephone banking system, internet banking and mobile banking our customers are able to conduct much of their banking business at their leisure.

Our commitment to excellence has enabled us to continue to grow and serve our communities for over 150 years. We thank our customers for helping to make all of this possible. If you are just visiting here, we invite you to apply for an account today or visit any of our locations. Then you will understand the reasons for our longevity and why we are able to say that we're "The Oldest Bank in Mississippi and as Modern as the Newest."
